Judicial couriers on Friday did not find Gruevski at home, and his wife Borkica told them he was not there. With that, the former prime minister took two days of freedom. By late evening, a large number of journalists waited for the prime minister to arrive in Shutka.
On Monday, the verdict will either be handed over to the Criminal Court, where it should be presented at the “Titanic” or sent to the home address.
If the court decides that Gruevski avoids making the decision, future steps are his association with the police or issuing an arrest warrant.
However, Gruevski will remain an MP in the Assembly, even though he will serve the prison sentence. Parliament yesterday did not receive his MP's mandate because they did not vote two-thirds of the deputies.
