21 years from step without return: KLA public appearance

Today it is 21 years since the public appearance of the Kosovo Liberation Army. Muje Krasniqi, Daut Haradinaj and Rexhep Selimi, on November 28, 1997, at Skyeraj Lausa at the funeral of teachers Halit Geci have come out for the first time before public opinion as members of the KLA. On November 25th 1997, Kosovo Liberation Army forces led by the legendary commander, Adem Jashari, attacked police forces in Skyeraj's Vonik, which withdrew, leaving dead and wounded.

The next day on November 26th, a penal expedition of 10 automobiles and other motorised vehicles headed to this village, where the KLA again attacked them and after four hours of fierce fighting, police forces withdrew, leaving behind dead and dead.

In retreat, Serbian forces savaged by the shocks they were given The KLA, started firing hard at anyone they saw, and in the village of Lausa they killed teacher Halit Geci at the school door, which was buried in a large ceremony on November 28, 1997.

At this funeral ceremony, attended by tens of thousands of citizens from all over Kosovo, the KLA's first public appearance was made.
