The strong wind and heavy rain last week destroyed parts of Italy and led to the worst floods Venice has seen in at least a decade.
In the northern region of Venato, damage estimates have reached over 1 billion euros, and some villages have suffered from landslides.
Heavy weather also wreaked havoc on dozens of acres of forests, including 'Violin Forest's, destroyed after winds reached up to 190 miles per hour (118 mph).
Roberto Ciambetti, chairman of the Venice Regional Council, told CNN that about 300,000 trees were destroyed after the winds swept through Val d'Assa on the beach in Asiago.
Tens of thousands of tall trees were cut like toothpicks”, he said.
