In Wade's imagination, Kosovo is painting bodies of dead children. The Kosovo War” was published last month.
In his book Wade portrays the tragedy that Albanian families experienced during 1998-99. By the time Goddard was in Kosovo he was young and at the time he had not thought that the passion for photography would bring him to war places.
I never thought I'd work in a war zone. I contacted a photographer to ask how to get here. I came to the Balkans to stay for only one month, but remained forever” said Goddard in an interview for Croatian media.
Now Wade lives in Dubrovnik, Croatia, and is 49 years old. He hopes that his photos from the Kosovo and Bosnia war will document some of the darkest pages of humanity in Europe.
