In an interview for the news agency “ta nea”, Zaev has said Macedonia supports a positive solution for Kosovo, but that the Balkans do not need new wars.

Macedonia's “government thinks the Balkans do not need new conflicts. Only united we can progress faster, and fulfill our EU aspirations. Macedonia also supports a solution which would be positive for Kosovo”, Zaev has said.

According to him, the agreement between Pristina and Belgrade should ensure the welfare of Serbs in Kosovo, as well as all its citizens.

It is very important for all leaders in the region to be united for achieving common goals, and they are long-term peace, regional co-operation, economic development and EU membership”, it has ended.

We stress that against possible border correction, only Germany has already emerged.

While the United States of America has not yet defined the position on this issue, while senior American officials have repeatedly declared that Pristina and Belgrade should be given space to reach agreements.
