The Singapore Airlines company said the trip between Chang and Newark airports will cover a distance of over 15,000 miles per less than 19 hours.
The company will use Airbus A350-900-type aircraft ULR, with 67 classroom seats and 94 premium economies. There's no economic class.
Singapore Airlines is restarting service five years after suspending it, since it had become very expensive.
The Qatar Airways company has a 17-and-a-half-hour service between Doha and Aukland in New Zealand.
