Vuciq has said such statements should not be underestimated, since they come from a very serious politician such as Juncker.
The “is a very strong warning coming from EC President Juncker, that the Balkans may be in the same condition as in the 1990s if they were denied the prospect of EU integration”, the Serbian president has said, reports Tanjug.
He has added that Serbia will try to be a factor of peace and stability in the region.
Yesterday Juncker said that if the EU does not seriously approach the Balkans, specifically the Western Balkans, then the same conflicts of the 1990s could occur.
According to him, the integration of this part of the Balkans into the EU is delayed because of problems with borders.
