He voiced hope that an increasing number of investors from Turkey, as well as tourists from that country, will come to Serbia.
In his speech to those present, Serbia's president stressed that it was a major investment of 35m euros and that he is proud that 100 women will work there.
It's best to see that only girls don't work until they're 25. Thank you, Turkish brother for accepting women over the age of 50. They are worthy and capable women who will show loyalty, “said Vuciq, referring to Turkish President Erdogan.
The Eurotay textile factory, which is being built in Adran near Kraleva, will employ 2,500 people and is expected to open in April 2019. 115 employees have already been trained, while between 400 and 700 workers will be employed in the first phase, and by 2023 a total of 2,500 people will be employed.
The investment began to be realised after the agreement between presidents Vuciq and Erdogan.
Turkish investor Group Tai has announced it will also open a nursery for factory workers' children.
