MP PSDA, Visar Ymer, said the resolution proposed by the opposition for dialogue would have to be voted in the Parliament, rather than the position to play by bringing new resolutions, just before the vote.
This debate in the Parliament has had to happen in the weather, not the ruling coalition brings a new resolution, in which names for the negotiating team are included. The opposition resolution aims to correct dialogue within the framework of the Constitution. It has been an extraordinary mistake, because dialogue is a very important issue, so forces in the Parliament must find common language about who and how it should go to dialogue”, Ymer said.
On the other hand, the deputy head of The PDK, Uran Ismaili, said his party has made constant efforts to reach consensus among political parties for dialogue.
We've had continuous efforts at consensus. We've even handed over the platform that gives all the acts of action a chance to continue. The Republic of Kosovo has its own constitution, and we know it is not violated. There must be overcoming political daily games, to see what dangers we may face in dialogue. So even Wessel called on all parties, because the lack of cohesion among us creates poor positions in front of Serbia. There has been a greater reaction than the opposition needed. Our political stances are that borders are sacred and not affected. But I come to confusion that dialogue leads to fragmentation, then you can't reach consensus. The risk of association is still present at”, Ismaili said.
And MP Imer said President Thaci's public presentations have caused the biggest rift among political parties for dialogue.
“First, the whole discussion on partitioning Kosovo, has caused Thaci's public appearance. Since he introduced this idea. Thaci says it's my idea, and the party chief says it's the idea of Serbia and Russia. In any process of dialogue, there has to be mandated by the Parliament. Nobody has given the president a mandate to lead the dialogue. Major damage has been done to Kosovo, for itself, the fact that such an idea has been accepted by the president. We're discussing this process from the tail. It doesn't make discussion about dialogue start out what we should give, but what we should get. This is about agreement if Serbia does not recognise Kosovo. Signing for association has made Hashim Thaci as prime minister. The form of Serb majority municipalities is conceived there. The Assembly should mandate a team for dialogue. Whatever launch at these stages, it costs Kosovo too much”, Ymer said.
President Thaci's deputy chairman appeared in defence The PDK, who said the president has been elected democraticly and that he has institutional legitimacy.
“First, the president is democratically elected. We should not see politics in personal form except. The president has postponed the idea, which is the time of the end to join Presevo Valley and Kosovo. I was told by a president why you're talking about the matter, it's like a deputy or a party speaker told me why he's holding a press conference. There was an allergic reaction against the person, not the idea. We've been talking about consensus for 5-6 months. Borders are sacred, we don't enter in exchange. Our goal is to guard the borders, strengthen our position towards Serbia. Thaci is the legitimate president and is long-standing in politics, leading important processes, so there is institutional legitimacy. We're not talking about an NGO leader, we're talking about the president. We don't mean anything by giving it to you.
According to him, none of the parties have indicated they are ready for elections./ P ERISCOPIA
