Turkish police think 59-year-old Jamal Khashoggi has been brutally tortured, killed and his body cut to pieces.
All of this, according to Turkish efficiency, has taken place within the building where Khahoggi had gone to secure official documents for his wedding ceremony, which should be held soon.
Police sources claim the 59-year-old killing has all been filmed and the video has been taken out of the country. Prior to the event, 15 Saudi citizens, including some officials, turned out to have arrived in Istanbul within Tuesday on two flights and were at the consulate at the same time as the journalist.
Turkish police are convinced that the murder was carried out by a team sent to Istanbul specifically for that purpose and that, later, has left the city overnight.
