Sylejman Selimi's lawyer, Tome Gashi, has said keeping his client in custody is political and not legal.

According to him, he is being held in illegal prison and that for this he is preparing a criminal impeachment against the responsible for the situation.

Sylejman Selimi's illegal hold of the prison is preparing a criminal outcry against all responsible ones who will be identified for this intentional political background scandal”, Gashi wrote on Facebook.

Gashi does not believe Selimi has fought for such a Kosovo legal system, where judicial uncertainty deliberately is being created against the commander of the KLA's General Staff himself.

Gashi says that since June 11th, Sylejman Selimi is being held in the Dubrava prison without any rights, and therefore there is no legal reason other than the secret “ ” which, according to him, eventually “knows” or “ @x4> has invented the highest court itself in the Republic of Kosovo to keep it illegally in prison.

And it's not even about blocking Sylejman Selim's parole, which this time did the parole panel, asking for information from the Supreme Court that we lawyers at Sylejman Selimi are asking for more than 133 days”, Gashi wrote.
