While Haradinaj has said that the US does not suggest solutions affecting territories and borders, the presidency says this depends on the parties on what agreement they want.
Internal objections and part of the international factor not to affect borders have not deterred President Thaci.
The president's chief of staff, Bekim Colak, has said they continue to believe that only through border correction can Kosovo achieve the two main goals within the process of dialogue-recognition by Serbia and the union of Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvedja with Kosovo. According to him, the border correction issue has been discussed at recent US meetings.
