Thaci does not respond to Haradinaj, but speaks on his behalf

The first executive today said that energy spent on the idea of correction would be better addressed in recognition by the five EU states that have not recognised Kosovo.

However, Thaci has declined to comment on Haradinaj's statement, but has only said that the prime minister loves and respects Valley”.

So Thaci said after meeting representatives of the Association of Journalists and representatives of the Presevo Valley civil society.

“Prime Minister (Haradinaj), I have talked, love you and respect you, so there is no concern in this direction, Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc. But, what I want to say is that the idea of redressing the border definitely avoids the scenario of partitioning Kosovo, the idea of Belgrade and Russia, and above all that of establishing the association of Serb majority municipalities with executive elements, something that is supposed to happen, but, of course, exchange”, he said.

Thaci even thinks that joining the Valley has a positive impact on Kosovo's road to the EU.

I am well aware that about 98 per cent of the cowards in Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc support this idea within the border correction or demarcation of the border with Serbia in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process. Possibly an agreement reached in a peaceful process, and at the same time legally binding on the international level that would be closed and that would make sense only with mutual recognition of Kosovo-Serbia. Then, this would open up opportunities for Kosovo to recognise from the five European Union countries as well as to remove Russian vetos from the Security Council, and a global recognition”, Thaci has said.

While Sevdail Hyseni BKSH “Perspectova” from the Presevo Valley, Thaci has said he has been closely notified of systematic discrimination from Belgrade.

“The idea of border correction is one of the most shot and best ideas at the time it was launched. What we're able to do through those few information tools that we have, we're trying to perceive and affirm an idea that in us and in the masses in general has come across a little bit of a dose of fear, but is accepted as such. Such limits should be corrected so that we do not have any problems in the future”, Hyseni stressed.
