Thaci tries to take credit for the Army

Even what Thaci had later sent and withdrawn from the Parliament had compiled to the KSF ministry, which at the time was led by Hakki Demolli of the LDK.

Concrete steps in the long-standing military effort have come only in recent months, and after Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's important meeting in Washington with US Defence Secretary James Mattis.

KSF Minister Rrustem Berisha had introduced the package of laws to the government's collection on 13 September, laws these that Haradinaj Government had prosecuted in the Assembly.

And, there has been this package of laws that was adopted at the 18 October session with a sweeping majority of votes.

The transformation of KSF into the Army will take 7 to 10 years.
