Stoltenberg backs normalisation of relations between Kosovo, Serbia

On the eve of his visit to Serbia, Stoltenberg said he supports normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, as such, according to him, is essential to peace and security in the region.
He stressed that “NATO will continue to support efforts leading to the normalisation of the security situation and to reduce tensions in the region” to add that people of this region deserve a better future, being part of the Euro-Atlantic union, AA reports.
Stoltenberg will stay in Serbia until Monday, while in the context of his visit he will meet with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq and Prime Minister Ana Brnabiq, while his participation in the Security Forum in Belgrade is in advance.
