In his statement to the Beta agency, Janjic said he expects that only Russia at the next session of the UN Security Council will link the creation of the Kosovo Army and the removal of UNMIK as a unilateral act of the West, which will be the “mation of the diplomatic dispute”.
“This does not respond to Russia's interest, as it is clear that the Kosovo Army will be part of NATO, because it is already working as a security force”, Janjic explained.
According to him, the full formation of the Kosovo Army takes between two and five years. “Serbia can now make big political, security and diplomatic noises, call on Russian peacekeeping forces, announce the occupation, and objectively that noise threatens with Serbia's destabilisation and withdrawing its work into armed activities, which is a border that cannot be passed, “said Janjic.
