Sippas Yagcilar, the current state-of-the-art wage issue realised by the state budget, has created an irresistable situation for equal positions.
“in different institutions for the same or comparable positions are estimated at different levels of wages or compensation”, Jagcilar said.
According to him, this situation has resulted in numerous underground acts and separate decisions.
“This situation has been created because there are many separate legal and underground acts, specific decisions with which different levels of wages and other compensation have been determined for employees who benefit from the state budget. It does not provide equal salary for equal work”, Jagcilar said.
Therefore, according to the minister, it has been important to draft this law.
Parliamentary Group The PDK, in principle supports this bill. PDK MP Xhevahire Izmaku said they would look carefully at the phase of the amendment to this bill and not allow discrimination.
“Parliamentary Group The PDK, I will look very carefully at the institution's phase not to allow discrimination in any sector and to look closely at unions”, Izmaku said.
PSD MP Shqipe Pantina has welcomed that the draft law on salaries in the public sector was submitted to the Assembly.
It is to say welcome that these bills have come, even though the order is bad. First the law on state administration, the law for public officials, and then decide how to pay them”, she said.
She added there is inequality in public sector wages.
“A judge or a prosecutor is more regarded than a specialist doctor. We're going to support this bill in principle, but the 1x needs to be radically changed. Pays increase in the education and health sector. There can be no increased quality and no economic development without support in these two sections”, she said.
Rasim Selmanaj AAK, asked the Assembly to support the bill in question, even though it has cited some uneven irregularities and treatments for specific sectors.
“The workers in education are not treated equally as those in other sectors. There are inequality and shortcomings and still remains to be done in this process”, he said.
After this discussion the Parliament went on pause until 4: 00 p.m. at the request of Albanian PSD deputy Pantina.
