Russia refuses to accept the name change. After voting in Macedonia's Parliament, through profits on the social network “Titter” of the Russian Embassy, Russia sent a message saying it accepts Macedonia under its constitutional name and that this stance will not change.
“Russia has recognised the Republic of Macedonia by its constitutional name more than 26 years ago and will not change its stance”, writes the Russian Embassy's profile in Skopje.
