Risking the students ' lives, the prosecution charges

The General Department, at the Constitutional Prosecution in Gjilan, has filed charges against defendants A. L. and M.I., due to the suspicion that they committed criminal acts cause of general danger and illegal construction activities.

According to the indictment, during September 2018, in an elementary school in the municipality of Gjilan, defendants from carelessness and as a result of not performing jobs, not placing the placards on the stairopolis standards, the same have been dragged by the class's plaphones, with which cases have threatened the lives of students who have just observed the risk of leaving the classroom.

In this way, the defendants have committed the criminal work due to general risk, from Article 365 paragraph 6 concerning paragraph 1 and Article 31 of the Kosovo Republic's Criminal Code”, the report said.

“also, defendants as responsible persons in the case of design, supervision or construction work, have acted indiscreetly against generally accepted professional standards, placing stiropol plates in school, which have been dragged into action and risking people's lives. ”

This way, defendants have also carried out criminal acts of illegal construction by Article 368 paragraph 2 concerning paragraph 1 and Article 31 of KPRC. ”

In the end, the State Attorney has proposed to the competent Court in Gjilan that the defendants plead guilty to criminal acts and pronounce criminal sanctions that would answer all circumstances in carrying out criminal acts.
