Vladimir Putin personally awarded a “heroi of Russia” award to Alexander Miskin, one of two military intelligence officers allegedly poisoning Sergei Scripal and his daughter Julia in Salisbury.
But the investigative website Bellingcat, which identified Miskin, said on Tuesday he had a picture of him holding hands with the Russian president, but that is unclear when and where this action took place.
A journalist working for The Insider of Russia spoke to several residents Monday. including three of Grandma's close friends, they claimed to have seen the Miskin photo holding hands with Putin.
Putin has denied that Moscow is dealing with the attack on the Scripals and has referred to two suspects as civilians.
Russia has repeatedly denied involvement in the attack on the Scripals.
Dr. Aleksandr Yevgenyevich Miskin, a military doctor employed by GRU”, Bellingcat said.
On 26 September, Bellingcats, a British web site covering intelligence issues, identified the other suspect, Bosirov, as Anatolia Chepiga, GRU colonel. In response to Bellingchati's latest report, British police said they would not comment on speculation about the real identities of those accused of poisoning the Scripals.
