Four police officials are being investigated by the Kosovo Police Inspectorate because of suspicions they have given reporters information about the involvement of the AKI chief's son, Shpend Maximu, in a criminal case.
“The crimes” which police officers have looked at in the data system “Majun” are evidence that the Kosovo Police Inspectorate intends to gather to surrender to the Prosecutor against officials who may be “the source of information” first published in “Dito Ditore” and then in other media.
Less than 48 hours since the paper has published the question of Maxhun's involvement in a criminal case, written that has been published by other media, the Kosovo Police Inspectorate has been activated to find out how information has been leaked.
As the newspaper has learned from its sources within the investigative institutions, the investigation has begun Monday. Suspected police officers have been confiscated phones, while Kosovo Police Inspectorate has called for the IT Department's co-operation to confirm which of the police officers has been introduced into the system to check the “account” of the Maximun Rescue.
