Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Behgjet Pacolli has commented on the most controversial topic of the country's president, Hashim Thaci, on restructuring the border with Serbia.
I hear this even in visits and meetings President Hashim Thaci has around the world, at first it has seemed to me as an unattainable issue, an issue that is spoken and a little strange”.
I see that every day and more this idea is receiving support. I don't know what you're thinking about correcting borders, but I understand setting limits as a demarcation. The demarcation is also when 1m or 10km is corrected border”.
As such an idea, I know, today, a large number of Kosovars understand as a normal thing of changing territories somewhere we haven't checked so far and we won't check in the future for territories that are with people of our own blood and language”.
Pacolli in the Kosovo Clan Zone has said Serbs will not give support to this idea.
“Serbs will not support it because Serbs have other goals in Kosovo and will not support that idea. On the one hand, there are these desires, or the idea of Thaci, that every day is facing consensus and, on the other hand, Serbia has once talked about converting territories and now seems to have attracted a little”.
The first Deputy Prime Minister has indicated that in November, there will be a trilateral meeting between three counterparts of Kosovo, the president of Serbia and France.
The “E knows there will be a meeting in France in November, between Hashim Thaci, Aleksandar Vuciqi, as well as France's President Emmanuel Macron, and this will be discussed because even during the meeting President Hashim Thaci had with Emmanuel Macron at the Francophony Summit, such a thing has been discussed<1>.
The president [Emmanuel Macron] says go ahead, don't rest. The International Community cannot bear an unresolved problem in the Balkans and Europe, and I encourage you to move on. He told us to talk and move forward, you have the support of France”
