On the 1610.2018th day of the Kosovo Assembly, representatives of civil society such as the Voice of Roma, Ashkalins and Egyptians, TDH Terre des hommes and KO network The SINT, together with the Kosovo Assembly MP, held the first meeting of the institution of the Kosovo Assembly MP's attorney group.
The accession group's goal is to help reduce the gap between different communities living in Kosovo, thus ensuring equal treatment of all policy-building and access to the application of current laws in force.
The applicant group is made up of these deputies: Driton Caushi PSD, Vjosa Osmani ) LDK, Mimoza Kusari and Ilir Deda . The new alternative, Donika Kada Buyupi AAK, Gjevahire Izak DK and Glauk Konjuvca VV.
This opposition group of MPs is supported by Finland's Ambassador to Kosovo, Pia Styernvall and Switzerland's Ambassador to Kosovo, Mr. Jean-Hubert Lebet.
At this meeting, Mr. President. Isaac Skyer Executive Director from NGO- Vo RAE, argued that “the current community situation: Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian is quite alarming, and the creation of the applicant group will help create a more inclusive society in Kosovo”.
And at this meeting the MPs indicated that their role is very important, and they even owe it to them to work for these communities.
At this meeting, they agreed that future steps will be first focused on the education issue, continuing with the creation of employment opportunities for these communities and continuing with the core issue of fighting Anti-Ghapsism.
