Minister Shala: Will protect producers from inequitable import

Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala has said he will use all his political weight to push forward the processes that are good for local businesses.
Shala has said he has requested detailed information from all departments to see where we are with local production and where MTI can help.

I've asked the department directors and the heads of agencies to have known how we are in relation to local production and where we as MTI can help and support local producers, with protective measures in relation to the uneven import being made to our producers”.
Minister Shala has said he will increase the dynamic work and will have a priority of helping local producers, because according to him, they are the main promoter of Kosovo's economic development.
