European Integrations Minister Gift Hoxha has sometimes declared that Kosovo citizens at the end of this year will move without visas to the European Union. But by offering the end of the year, the chief of European Integrations in the Government of Kosovo has begun to change statements.
The first of the European Integrations in the Government of Kosovo has stated yesterday to the newspaper “Zeri” that if the majority of votes needed for visa liberalisation in the EU Council, then the previous vote early in December of this year could be postponed until the majority's positive stance is secured.
“If there are no majority during the visa liberalisation vote with the Council of Ministers the decision to vote is postponed until the positive position of most members of the Council of Ministers is taken. Procedures do not go back and I consider that the example of returning to the process so far is not possible, nor will it in our case be”, Hoxha told “Zerin”.
