Minister of European Integration, Gift Hoxha, has met with European Union Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn during the 14th Conference of Regions and Cities of Europe, which is being held in Salzburg. The minister urged Hahn's support for the decision-making process for visa liberalisation for Kosovars to accelerate and close this year.

“We have met all conditions from the guide for visa liberalisation. We are moving forward the European Reforms Agency, and with increased dynamics we are implementing measures planned by the SAA, Minister Hoxha mentioned. After meeting the relevant conditions, we expect member states and EU institutions to take all procedure steps and the process to close without delay”, the media report said.

EU Enlargement Commissioner Hahn stressed that Kosovo has its support for the integration process, including visa liberalisation. Hahn encouraged Minister Hoxha to continue with reforms, especially in the area of rule of law, public administration and doing business.
