The former Croatian president, who is also known as Kosovo's great friend, Stipe Mesic, has spoken about the idea that has recently been revealed, that of correcting or changing borders between Kosovo and Serbia.
In an interview for “Der Standard”, Mesic said such an idea cannot be considered good, because, he says, such a thing could cause disaster and also a new war.
This is not a good idea, because Europe's architecture is complete with Kosovo independence. Anything else can lead to a new catastrophe, a new war. Wars in Europe have always begun with the reasoning that states wanted to protect their minorities in other countries. But that was just one reason, because their intentions were territory”, he said.
According to him, an opening of the borders could be a better idea, because, as he says, Serbs and Albanians would not care which state they live in.

The Messiah also spoke of so-called ethnic borders between Albanians and Serbs, who he said such an idea is old and nationalistic.
