The owner of the site where the event took place, Qazim Carros, has heard a brief debate between municipal employees and his fellow villager.

The latter, as he put it, earnestly urged them to speak to Burrel's mayor, for he evidently demanded that they adjust the way to his home.

But after a brief debate among them, Kujam has gone to get automatic weapons at the apartment and then has returned, causing the serious massacre.

  1. Carros, do you know the author who caused this massacre in your bar?

Yeah. It's Cameron Koja, a resident here in our village of Shrell. The house is about 500 yards below my bar.

Have you met him today?

I met him around 10:00 at my place. He had two brandy drinks and then he left. He was with Hamit Butch, one of the victims who is also a resident of our village.

How did the conflict between him and the city employees begin? You heard the debate between them?

About an hour before the event, he met with municipal employees, drivers, and fascists. They parked the vehicles in front of my bar. I was about 100 yards away because I was working something. I haven't heard the whole conversation, but when Cameron (author) lifted up his voice, he told them “give me the number of mayor, Nezir Rizvani, I want to talk to him”. I didn't hear what answer he got from the city employees, but I saw him leave nervous and down the forest down to his house.

What happened next?

These municipal employees sat at my bar for lunch. My brother, who is also head of the village, Fatos, served what we had at the bar. Some of the employees, however, had brought their food and sat down to avoid eating on foot. No one thought memory would return to the bar.

What happened, did you see when your fellow village returned armed?

I told them up. I was working a few yards from the bar. He was my brother in the service of municipal employees. I've seen it from about 100 yards away when memory Koja approached the bar and had the gun in her hand. His wife ran behind him in an attempt to stop him. Evidently, she realized that something bad was going to happen when she saw her husband arrive home nervous and step out right after taking the gun. But she could not stop him, and he struck with hail in the direction of those within him at a distance. I heard screams. In the meantime, I've seen a brother come near and lower his gun. They fought until his gun was taken.

Who transported the wounded?

I ran into the country. Within seconds, the bar's floor was consumed by blood. The wounded had fallen unconscious. With the help of some of the village residents, we got people into cars, which, in fact, for three of them, we thought were dead from there because they had no signs of life. We headed for Burrel. The situation was very serious. I've never seen such a massacre. Then we were told that only Mentor Hoxha and the other two, Erzen and Hamiti, had died in serious condition. Unfortunately, neither did they.

Why did this event happen, you are aware of a conflict between them?

I'm not able to fully explain it, but Cameron, apparently, has asked for the municipality to interfere in the way of his neighborhood. According to me, they don't blame employees for investments that are done, they just follow the superiors' orders. /panorama
