Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj has said the resolution proposed by the ruling coalition on the question of dialogue with Serbia is the necessary document because of the idea of dialogue of borders in dialogue with Serbia.
According to Limaj, the resolution is also intended to unify the political factor in the country for dialogue and stop negotiating that has been mentioned by President Hashim Thaci.
The “just as you said it is that yesterday as a governing coalition we have finally issued a draft resolution, a document that involves in an exclusive way all the recently raised concerns about the positioning and position of Kosovo as a state in possible state talks that may come with Belgrade and with our proposal has been introduced in an exclusive manner by all provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo that deal with the territory's subjects of sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country, and also one of the points is the question of possible agreements which must be passed through the Parliament of Kosovo's Parliament, any international ratification with the two resolutions, practically with all political groups. Nearly all our and opposition proposals that have been part of the concerns are in this draft resolution. The resolution project aims to unify Kosovo's political factor to have a unique position in dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. Explicitly in the draft resolution, no one is said to have a mandate to negotiate beyond what is in advance with the Constitution, no one has mandates to negotiate the territory of Kosovo”, Limaj said after the arrangements made in Drenas and Scikyright Mary, the KP reported.
He has invited opposition and position to vote on this document in the Assembly. According to him, the resolution has clear targets for empowering Kosovo's citizenship, such as recognition by Serbia, sitting in the UN and international affirmation. He has said that if the opposition thinks the resolution must still be empowered, the ruling coalition is open to this.
Kosovo is a state and we have state responsibilities. We will carry out our state responsibilities. My invitation is that all the acters take responsibility and not remain observant. Those who choose to remain observers of matters we cannot stop. But they have no reason but to calculate their own narrow party. This majority has reflected and included within its project both the concerns and demands and proposals of the opposition. Beyond that, the document is open to offer yet another proposal or suggestion. All this is in order for the political factor to unify”, Limaj said.
