LDK seeking numbers for government collapse

The Democratic League of Kosovo is working with other political subjects to ensure numbers for not believing in the Government of Kosovo, but has not indicated how many votes it needs to file the motion before the Assembly. This has been announced by LDK deputy chairman Agim Veliu after this meeting. [...]

This has been disclosed by LDK deputy chairman Agim Veliu, following this party's meeting with LDK branch heads, where, under the chairmanship of President Isa Mustafa, they discussed dialogue with Serbia and other issues of Kosovo interest, the KsP reports.

Speaking about the request for early elections in Kosovo, Veliu said that early elections, which according to the LDK are not far off, have been discussed at the meeting.

“So we are working with structures all over Kosovo and the group of MPs to go towards the general council meeting, where the LDK will have the defined position and shaping position in terms of dialogue and issues of the interest of Kosovo”, he said.

According to him, the LDK is working with other political subjects, including deputies from the ruling coalition, for securing votes for the collapse of Haradinaj government, but did not disclose how many votes it needs to request no no motion in the Assembly.

“We are working with other political subjects to make the numbers for the collapse of this government, as the sooner this government falls, is better for Kosovo, as this government has lost the legitimacy of Kosovo citizens and in a new process institutions will have the legitimacy to deal with vital issues for Kosovo citizens. But of course the next few days we'll inform you exactly”, Veliu said.

Otherwise, the LDK has already indicated early elections in Kosovo, as according to this party, current governance is not governing well with the country and has lost the citizens' trust.
