In a publication of it via Facebook, he hopes that the Kosovo Courts will respect the rights of persons seeking political asylum, as his client, known as Babaca, has been granted asylum requests in Kosovo by 29 November.
With the request of the Prosecutor for the Red Crimes in Tirana today in Pristina, my client Mr. Albert Veliu known as BABALA citizen of Albania.
According to Albert Veliu's family, the father and his son have been granted asylum demand in Kosovo until 29.11.2018.
My client claims his life is in danger if he is extradited to Albania because of his involvement with Mr. Agron Xhafa brother of Albanian Interior Minister.
However, I believe that the Courts in Kosovo will respect the rights of persons seeking political asylum guaranteed by Kosovo laws and international conventions and will not extradite Mr. Albert Veliun, whose asylum in Kosovo has been admitted.
