The number of films shown at the CINEPLEXX cinema was 181, out of them 2 local films and 179 foreign films, while the number of viewers was 338 963. The number of films shown at the DOKU-KINO cinema DOCH FEST was 323, of them 27 local films and 296 foreign films, while the number of viewers was 21 554.”, states the communique.
According to data from this report, the total number of films for 2017 was 576, with a total of 371 thousand and 8 viewers. Compared to 2016, numbering 369 films, and a total of 61 thousand and 558 visitors, it represents a fine increase in the interest of citizens.
In the KSF community for 2017, the library's book fund reportedly was 1,782 945, while the number of readers was 158 176. If this data is compared to a year ago that counted over 1 million 793 thousand and 73 thousand books with 278 thousand and 201 readers, over 12,000 fewer readers would say that over 10,000 books were reduced to books in Kosovo libraries.
The book funding in Kosovo libraries is roughly equal to the number of Kosovo's population.
The number of museums and museum houses was 72, while the number of visitors was 71 335. This number dropped by a year ago. In 2016 the number of museums and houses was 64, with 104 thousand and 935 visitors.
