Unknown people had put the explosives to the victim's door, mounted in the mailbox, and then activated by remote control.
Haxhiu's most explosive blast remained dead in the country, shaking off residents of Smolica.
Major murder occurred around 0800 and was confirmed by police intelligence officials.
Kosovo police have quickly responded to the case by going to the scene.
There are still all relevant police units dealing with the crime investigation. So far there are still no persons arrested, no suspects.
Ineksonline learns that five years ago, the son of Haxhi Ahmeti, Alia, has been killed by his uncle in his home.
Ali Ahmeti (also known as Ali Sakica) knew the whole of Gjakova as a troubled person. He had even recently injured a Kosovo Police member.
