At a conference in Bahrain, Adel al-Jubeir has accused Western media of “hisister” in covering the case of the Saudi journalist's murder.
His comments come only a day after Turkey said it wants to extradite 18 Saudi citizens, who, authorities say, have been involved in the murder.
Gatese artist Khashoggi was killed at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul three weeks ago.
The official Riyadh denies that the royal family is involved.
Saudi Arabia had initially denied that there was information about the fate of the journalist, but the Saudi public prosecutor has already described the case as a deliberate murder.
Khashogg has been a loud critic of the crown prince, the de facto leaders of Saudi Arabia.
Our problem with extradition is that individuals are Saudi citizens. They have been detained in Saudi Arabia and the investigation is under way in Saudi Arabia, so they will be tried in Saudi Arabia”, said Minister al-Jubeir.
Turkey and Saudi Arabia have no deal for extradition.
