The first visit during its stay in Turkey, students held at Limak Energy Company. They looked closely at how the company works and deepened their knowledge about the management of the Department of Electrical Energy Marketing.

Deputy Director General of LimakEnergy, MesutSerhatDinc, who is also a member of the ECDS ECDS Ezekuitive Board, at the same time KED's scientist, praised the work being done on this curriculum.

This year has been a successful year. It's a journey we're all enjoying. I see students, the new generation who are very happy with this project. It's an incentive for us to continue the project further. I thank the KED's mentors and staff for the job. Even this generation of KDS Academy is good and I expect that in the future it will work with them professionally. This trip does not end, it is only the beginning, and will continue further at KEDS” offices, he said.

KEDS Academy is a teaching programme organised by KEDS and aims to support local students of Kosovo's further academic and professional development universities. The academy offers accredited programmes for students of higher education institutions and other interactive programmes for high technical school students in Kosovo, with the aim of reducing the number of unemployment by providing employment opportunities in the KED and employment knowledge in other similar companies.

KED Communications Director Najeje Arifaj said this is an important programme for youth education and their preparation for the labour market. This, because as it shows, students of this academy after the end of the programme are given access to employment in KEDS, the programme also helps them make further progress, as well as creating generations that will give their contribution to further development of the energy sector in the country.

This is the fifth generation of academy and this is not the first time we send students to Turkey. This visit serves them for deepening knowledge, and we are pleased to be able to help them in this regard”, Arifaj said.

Students also visited CalikHolding, another renomous corporation in Turkey. They were welcomed by CalikEnergy General Director and ECDS Executive Board Chairman Ridvan Accurk. He explained to students corporate activities, with particular emphasis on energy field.

The company is like family. In the family, everyone works to solve a problem and thus advances it. Treat the company like one. I assure you, she will treat you equally. At the same time, take advantage of opportunities to advance. Learn and work hard”, Akturk said.

On the third day of the visit, students stayed at the Boğazici University in Istanbul. It was hosted by the director of the Center for Teaching All Life at this university, Mr. Tamer Atabarut.

Students have been explained the history of the university, study programs, and its manner of organization. Then, they have continued training that has lasted throughout the day with the focus initially on communication skills and then on practical work. They have then continued training in the laboratory for testing electrical equipment that is under university, which is one of the best in Europe for energy issues.

For students, this experience was very useful. They said they benefited greatly from this professional trip.
