Investigations into the case are still under way, and so far this institute has not come up with any concrete results in the causes of Astrit Dehar's death.
The father of the late Astrit, Avni Dehari for Kosovo, announced that investigations are continuing and that international investigators have accepted all necessary material for investigation by Kosovo's investigative bodies.

He says that conflicting statements by prosecutors and judges about their son's death have prompted them to suspect even in the Kosovo Institute of Legal Medicine report.
Practical results for investigations in Switzerland have not even accepted the attorney of the Astrit Dehar case, Tome Gashi, who says they are expecting an investigative response from the Law Medicine Institute in Lozanne.
Voicing confidence that Astrit Dehar has been killed, Gashi in a proposal for Kosovapress says the case has not yet received epilogue, because according to him, he was insinuated.

While Prizren's Constitutional Prosecutor for Kosova Prees has confirmed that the case of Vetevendosje activist is being handled in Switzerland.
Vetevendosje Movement MP Sami Kurteshi says they have no information on the performance of investigations at the Law Medicine Institute in Lozanne.

In October last year, the Government of Kosovo at the request of Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri has allocated financial means to the amount of 50 thousand euros for additional expertise abroad in connection with the death of Astrit Dehar.
