A constitutional amendment adopted by the Hungarian parliament on June 20th prevents the continued “position in a public space”. This amendment strengthens a 2013 law that makes it a criminal offense punishable by fine.
Police have already been authorized to evacuate the homeless and break up the improvised huts and shelters.
