Over 1.4 million homes have been without electricity in Florida, Alabama Georgia and Virginia on Friday morning.
Michael, one of the most powerful hurricanes in the history of the United States, left at least 11 people dead while the search for survival continues.
U.S. Army personnel used heavy equipment to clean down fallen trees so that rescue teams could reach stranded residents.
The mother of all bombs does no more harm than this”, said the mayor of Mexico Beach, Tom Bailey.
