Hillary Clinton says accusations of sexual harassment against her husband, Bill Clinton, differ from those high profile names in the republican ranks. In an interview for CNN, on Tuesday, former Democrat candidate for the White House rejected the parallels amid allegations of sexual misconduct against her husband and those who have opposed President Donald Trump and newly confirmed Supreme Court leader Brett Kavanaugh.
Former American State Secretary said that “if the Republicans, starting with President Trump himself, want to make such comparisons, they should start an investigation like him for Clinton”.
Kavanaugh, who was sworn in Monday after weeks of debate, has faced charges of sexual misconduct by some women. Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee. Thousands of Americans stood hours before screens to follow her and Kavanaugh's testimony, at a special Senate session.
Clinton's statement was not well received by Juanita Broadrick, one of Bill Clinton's most famous accusers. In 1999, she claimed an interview for The NBC that former President Clinton raped him in 1978, when he served as Arkansas's attorney general.
The former president himself has never responded to these charges, passing them on to legal representatives. His lawyer, David Kendall, denied the charges at the time. However, Broadway's story again surfaced during the 2016 presidential election campaign and in light of the popularity of movement #MeToo, encouraging victims of sexual attacks to denounce
While tensions over Kavanaugh's confirmation were gaining momentum, Broaddrick requested an FBI investigation into his charges against Clinton, accusing the Democrats, set out for a full investigation of the FBI in Kavanaugh, of opportunism and double standards.
In response to Hillary Clinton's last interview, Broadway calls him hypocritical.
You hypocrite and liar. My case was never tried. So I request the launch of an investigation now. If I collect 100 grand, the world will know Hillary. Where are you going to hide then? (TemA TV)
