The country's prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, has declared that today it was one of the most determining days for the country in the consolidation of the state and on the road to NATO.
Haradinaj has said that with the first reading vote of the package of laws for the KSF, parliaments sealed the right of our sovereign state for the transition of KSF to military and defence mandates, security providers for all citizens and communities.
Prime Minister Haradinaj has also said that the KSF transition benefits citizens and communities in Kosovo, but also our region and strategic partners.

With justice, one of the most determining days for the country in state consolidation and the path to NATO. With the first legal package voting for KSF, Parliament deputies sealed the right of our sovereign state for the transition of KSF to military and defence mandates, security providers for all citizens and communities, multiethnic and professional force, according to NATO standards. I thank each MP separately and all political parties from power and opposition, which on national topics are witnessing concensus and political unity. The KSF's transition benefits citizens and communities in Kosovo, but also our region and strategic partners.
