Haradinaj convinced that after two months visas are removed

Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who has recently reacted sharply to those who say visas are not liberalised by the beginning of 2020, says visas will be lifted within these months.

Haradinaj on Monday, after meeting writer Helena Kadare, said by the end of this year Kosovars will be able to move without visas.

Otherwise, the European Commission has provided positive recommendation for visa liberalisation.

During September, however, the European Parliament has voted in favour of freedom of movement of Kosovo citizens. In December of this year, the Council of Ministers is expected to give the assessment on visa liberalisation.
