He has clarified that his dismissal from the post of Interior Minister was made at the request of AKR chairman Behgjet Pacolli.

Dear citizens of Kosovo, colleagues, friends and well-wishers,
As you have reported through the media, from today I will no longer exercise the duty of Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo.
As surprising as it may seem to take into account the experience of developed democratic countries, the reason for my replacement has been an AKR chairman's request for reshaping the government and no other reason that relates to my performance during the exercise of this task.
I would like to use this opportunity to express my gratitude for the fruitful cooperation with government cabinet ministers and all the employees of the Ministry with whom I have been in charge for the past six months.
This period of my ministry in the minister's office was an honor and a source of a rich and precious experience for my further activity.
I would like to send you a public thank you and all the media that have professionally conveyed all my activity during these months, including my replacement from the minister's office!
