The renowned American maga dealing with American foreign policy and international relations writes about the proposal for changing borders between Kosovo and Serbia, and the impact this would have on residents of both countries living in conflicted areas.
One August, political leaders in Kosovo and Serbia proposed to resolve the long problem between the two states through the exchange of territory; Serb majority-run municipalities north of Kosovo would enter under the Belgrade administration, while southern cities of Serbia met Pristina, the FA writes.
No one has considered this a brilliant idea and in general answers, the FA writes that this idea by politicians and experts is considered unclear. They have called it unfriendly and even shocking.
However, the main question: How these changes would affect those who live in the areas that are being discussed, the article says that the basic desire of Serbs and Albanians is little more than living with their countrymen, just as they are assuming the owners of the idea. This assumption is sold on the fundamental scheme of the entire Balkans: Nationalism”
The FA writes that there are many other solutions to be discussed between Kosovo and Serbia, including elements that have never been put into question, such as the safety and welfare of citizens, the setting of reports between communities.
