Final Results of Referendum in Macedonia

In yesterday's referendum on changing Macedonia's name, 666,743 citizens have voted, or 36,91 per cent out of a total of 1,806,336 registered voters in the election list, the State Election Commission announced today after 100 per cent of the vote.
In the referendum question of “are you for EU and NATO membership with the acceptance of the Agreement between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Greece?, “pro” have voted 91,46 per cent, or 609.813 citizens, while “against” have been proposed 5.65 per cent or 37700. Jovalides are 19,221 ballot papers, or 2,89 percent.
KSHZ Chairman Oliver Derkovski said that the confirm results have been confirmed, the decision has not been adopted because half of the citizens registered on the election list have not voted. The KSHZ report will be published at “Official Gasette” in the 15-day term, while appearing in the Assembly and published on the Commission's website.
