Only in Ferizaj 140 domestic violence cases

In Ferizaj's regional police for the first nine months of this year, some 140 cases of domestic violence have been reported, while the awareness of the population is generally seen as increasing to report cases in security organs, so there are so many cases of domestic violence.

To prevent further spread and sensationalisation of the opinion that domestic violence is condemned, Ferizaj's regional police, along with other local institutions, have opened today the motto “Monitor the family to respect”.

Refki Morina, head of investigations at Ferizaj Regional Police, says this phenomenon should always be reported not to keep cases isolated. According to a Ferizaj communique, representatives of Ferizaj's local government at the opening of this campaign said domestic violence often reproduced violence, so it should be enhanced that the laws in force be applied to violators so that there are as few such cases in the ferzajase families as possible.

Naim Ferati, deputy head of the municipality, who also heads the co-ordination body against domestic violence, said a better mobilization of all institutions is badly needed.

Even Christina Gashi Bytyqi, leader of the Ferizaj municipality's Assembly in her address, called for cases of violence to be as small in our society as possible.

The campaign, aimed at preventing domestic violence, told them that it will last several days and that there will be a wide stretch in schools and other public institutions where you will give necessary advice on how violence should be reported, and what measures must be taken to cases involving this ugly phenomenon.
