A pedophile and killer of eight children has been executed in Pakistan after his appeals have been rejected by courts.
Mohammad Imran is hung in a prison in Lahore in the presence of Amin Ansar, the father of one of the victims.
The violence and murder of 7-year-old Zainad Ansar in January month sparked worldwide outrage.
Imran was arrested two weeks after the baby Zainad's body was found in waste in the town of Kasur near Lahore. The police said the girl was raped and then killed.
During the interrogation Imran proved that he sexually assaulted and killed seven more children.
