He said Turkey has strong evidence that Khahoggi was killed in a deliberate and vicious “ ” in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on 2 October.
According to Erdogan, three teams of 15 Saudi citizens had come to Istanbul with separate flights in the days and hours leading up to the journalist's murder.
Furthermore, it also calls for suspects to be tried in Istanbul.
He asked Arabia's Saudi Arabia to give an answer to who ordered the operation.
Erdogan confirmed that 18 were arrested in question. However, he has released no details of evidence gathered for the murder.
He did not mention any audio or video footage found on this occasion.
