Scientists have found that the intelligence of man's best friend is similar to that of certain animal species, including cats and donkeys.
More than 300 dogs and other animals participated in the study, while researchers at Exeter University have focused on their co-operation, physical conscript, awareness.
It has been found that the dog's cognitive skills are similar to at least some species of goats, pigs, dolphins, seals, and sharks have shown that they are as good at following human manifestations as dogs, according to the publication of Learning & Behaviour.
Cows, pigeons, and chimpanzees have also been good at identifying man according to their faces.
Pigs have been good at identifying a man according to the smell, yet cats according to voice.
The dolphins, the common chimpanzee, the pandas, the American mother - in - law, and two species of bears have been as good as dogs in using different tools.
During this work, it seems that most of the studies in which dog cognitive skills have been researched have shown how many smart dogs are.
Often compared to chimpanzees, meanwhile, dogs always earn by taking the reputation of special animal”, Professor Stephen Leah of Exeter University said.
