Debate continues in Greece over secret funds, opposition seeks clarification of documents

But the latter has declared that in his voice “secret funds”, his ministry has only 600,000 euros.
While it appears that this issue has been limited to the investigation launched by the prosecution for “of the state secret”, the Greek Communist Party has brought it back to the stage, seeking interference in parliament.
In letter to the parliament speaker, 5 communist deputies underline that the foreign ministry's secret funds remain nontransparent, as the commission of lawmakers is only informed on general lines and for a total of more than 25,000 euros.
“Directly, control cannot be essential, and the law provision can be easily violated. Furthermore, the control should include all ministries of the”, communist deputies stress and line up, apart from the foreign ministry, defence ministry, the order and finance ministry.
The communist party reiterates once again that today there is no reason for those funds to be considered secret, but it must be informed parliament where those funds are spent and for what purpose”, the letter of five communist deputies seeking interrecision concludes.
