That stance was expressed at the meeting Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseli had today in Prague with Czech Senate Chairman Milan Stech. Also, Czechia has offered support for Kosovo's membership in Interpol, U NESTO.
Wessel thanked his counterpart for the support Cekia has given Kosovo for years in the statehood process, but even now in integration processes.
He stressed that Kosovo citizens rightly expect, as the necessary criteria have also been met, that visas for the Schengen area be lifted within the year.
The meeting discussed reports between Kosovo and Czechia and co-operation opportunities, particularly between the two parliaments, but also in the area of the economy.
Czech Senate Chairman Milan Stech expressed support for the European agenda of Kosovo, particularly for visa liberalisation. He also expressed readiness for co-operation between the parliaments in order to deepen reports between our two countries.
During his visit to Czechia, Chairman Wessel also attended Forum 2000, where different personalities from many parts of the world were participating. The forum was founded about 20 years ago by former Czech president Vaclav Havel.
